Don't Talk To Strangers - Auckland

We all know these objects, and the deep memories they satisfy us with. Your Grandma's jewellery box, that jar from your favourite second-hand store, that painting your first lover made for you. But there is such a thing as clutter, on the mantle piece, the window sill, the fire place, but all good things must come to an end... or so they say. Why not extend this object's life, giving somebody else the chance to experience the love you felt for it? Sounds a lot better than a dumpster, right?

From the 21st of August to the 10th of September, you are invited to join, bringing your own unique item to the table, in exchange for some one elses, and you will find a roll of paper for you to leave a note for the next person saying whatever you please. 

While bringing your beloved object to the gallery, you will discover the work of the young photographer Fraser Chatham.
